अस्यास्तु वचन श्रुत्वा सर्वास्ता: कुरुयोषित:,“इसकी बात सुनकर कुरुकुलकी सारी स्त्रियाँ इसे दोनों हाथोंसे पकड़कर अत्यन्त आर्त-सी होकर करुण विलाप करने लगीं
asyāstu vacanaṁ śrutvā sarvāstāḥ kuru-yoṣitaḥ
毗舍波耶那说：听到她的话，俱卢族的妇女们尽皆悲恸；她们用双手抓住她，在极度痛苦中发出凄切的哀号——这是共同哀伤的景象，也是战争留给家族的道德余痛。
