Abhimanyu’s Śrāddha; Vyāsa’s Assurance of the Unborn Heir (अभिमन्योः श्राद्धं तथा गर्भरक्षणोपदेशः)

औपनआक्ाा बा अकाल एकषेष्टितमो< ध्याय: श्रीकृष्णका सुभद्राके कहनेसे वसुदेवजीको अभिमन्युवधका वृत्तान्त सुनाना वैशम्पायन उवाच कथयतन्नेव तु तदा वासुदेव: प्रतापवान्‌ । महाभारतसयुद्ध॑ तत्कथान्ते पितुरग्रत:

vaiśampāyana uvāca | kathayat tan naiva tu tadā vāsudevaḥ pratāpavān | mahābhārata-yuddhaṃ tat-kathānte pitur agrataḥ ||

毗湿摩衍那说:当时,威德赫赫的婆苏提婆(克里希纳)在父亲面前讲述《摩诃婆罗多》大战诸事之际,却在叙述中有意略过了阿毗曼纽被杀的一段。那位大智的英雄心想:父亲若听闻外孙(孙子)之死这等凶讯,恐将为悲痛所击而心神受创;因此他以慈悯与言辞之礼,暂不道出此事。
