A divine encounter should not be treated as ordinary: Kṛṣṇa urges the listener to set aside hesitation and accept the ethical imperative to receive grace properly—by asking what is needed for dharma—because such darśana is ‘amogha’, never without meaningful result.
In Vaiśaṃpāyana’s narration, Kṛṣṇa speaks again to the person before him, discouraging further doubt and insisting that a boon be requested, emphasizing that his appearance and audience are unfailingly efficacious.
