या मे सम्भावना तात त्वयि नित्यमवर्तत । अपि सा सफला तात कृता ते भरतान् प्रति
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
yā me sambhāvanā tāta tvayi nityam avartata |
api sā saphalā tāta kṛtā te bharatān prati ||
毗舍波耶那说：“孩子啊，我对你常怀此愿：愿凭你的努力，俱卢与般度两支得以和解。孩子啊，关于婆罗多后裔之事，我这份期望，可曾被你成就？”
