Ethics of Non-attachment
अपापमशतं वृत्तमजिद्दां नित्यमाचरेत् । जोषयेत सदा भोज्यं ग्रासमागतमस्पृह:
apāpam aśaṭhaṃ vṛttam ajihmāṃ nityam ācaret | joṣayet sadā bhojyaṃ grāsam āgatam aspṛhaḥ ||
风神伐由天说道:“当恒常行于无罪之道——不欺诳,不诡曲。凡有一口食物自然而至,当受而食之;然心中仍须无所贪求,即便对那一口也不生渴望。”
वायुदेव उवाच
Maintain sinless, straightforward conduct—free from deceit and crookedness—and live with contentment by accepting only what comes unasked, without inner craving.
Vāyu-deva is instructing a listener on dharmic living, emphasizing moral integrity and a disciplined, desireless approach to sustenance.
