मरुत्तोपाख्यान-प्रस्तावः — Genealogy to Marutta and the Logistics of Royal Sacrifice
ततस्तानजयत् सर्वान् प्रातिसीमान् नराधिपान् | एतस्मात् कारणाद् राजन् विश्रुत: स करन्धम:
tatastān ajayat sarvān prātisīmān narādhipān | etasmāt kāraṇād rājan viśrutaḥ sa karandhamaḥ ||
随后，他征服了所有居住在其国境边陲的诸王。因此，哦，大王，他以“迦兰陀摩”（Karandhama）之名闻名于世——此名意谓他“压制/遏止 kara（贡赋/税敛）”，也就是凭借果决的威力与助力，平息苛敛之征与边境之患。
