Rajo-guṇa-nirdeśa — Brahmā’s Enumeration of Rajasic Dispositions
अस्मिल्लोके प्रमोदन््ते जायमाना: पुनः पुन: । प्रेत्य भाविकमीहन्ते ऐहलौकिकमेव च । ददति प्रतिगृह्नन्ति तर्पयन्त्यथ जुह्गमति
asmi loke pramodante j1yam1n1 puna puna | pretya bh1vikam 2bhante aihalaukikam eva ca | dadati pratigh nanti tarpayanty atha juhvati ||
风神说道：“在此世间，此等之人因屡屡再生而一次又一次欢喜，沉溺于由感官对象所生的欲乐。死后亦然，他们为自己想象将要发生之事而奔走，又只追逐世间之利。故而以欲望为动机，他们施与、受取，并行满足之礼（tarpana）与祭献之供（yajña）。”
