Transliteration

tamo rajastathā sattvaṃ guṇān etān pracakṣate | anyonyamithunāḥ sarve tathānyonyānujīvinaḥ ||

Translation

风神伐由说道：“昏暗（tamas）、激动（rajas）、澄明（sattva）——此三者名为德性（guṇa）。它们彼此对立，却又彼此依存、彼此支撑、彼此相随，并恒常交杂。”
