Adhyāya 33: Brāhmaṇa-Upadeśa on Buddhi, Āśrama-Forms, and Inner Freedom

एक: पन्था ब्राह्मणानां येन गच्छन्ति तद्विद: । गृहेषु वनवासेषु गुरुवासेषु भिक्षुषु

ekaḥ panthā brāhmaṇānāṁ yena gacchanti tadvidaḥ | gṛheṣu vanavāseṣu guruvāseṣu bhikṣuṣu brahmacarye gārhasthye vānaprasthe ca saṁnyāse ca ||

婆罗门说道:“真正了知梵(Brahman)的婆罗门,只有一条道路——智者所行之道。无论住于家中,或居于林野,或依止师长,或以乞食为生;无论安住于学生期(梵行,brahmacarya)、家住期(gārhasthya)、林栖期(vānaprastha)、或出离期(saṃnyāsa)四种住期——凡是知梵的婆罗门,皆循同一条统一之路而行。”
