कुन्ती–व्याससंवादः
Kuntī–Vyāsa Dialogue on Durvāsā’s Boon and Karṇa’s Birth
नरश्रेष्ठ युधिष्ठिरने जहाँ राजा धृतराष्ट्र दग्ध हुए थे, उस स्थानपर भी हरद्वारमें विधि- विधानके जाननेवाले विश्वासपात्र मनुष्योंको भेजा और वहीं उनके श्राद्धकर्म करनेकी आज्ञा दी। फिर उन भूपालने उन पुरुषोंको दानमें देनेयोग्य नाना प्रकारकी वस्तुएँ अर्पित कीं ।।
dvādaśe 'hani tebhyaḥ sa kṛtaśauco narādhipaḥ | dadau śrāddhāni vidhivad dakṣiṇāvanti pāṇḍavaḥ ||
在完成了规定的净化仪轨——如十日之守制——之后，般度之子、般度族的国王由提施提罗于第十二日依正法为持国王（Dhṛtarāṣṭra）等举行了施罗陀（śrāddha）祭祖追荐之礼。在这些祖灵仪式中，他又向婆罗门广施达克希那（dakṣiṇā，酬仪），表明即便身处哀恸与政局动荡之中，仍当以合乎法度的丧祭之责、感恩之心与恭敬布施来护持达摩。
