Nārada’s Exempla of Tapas and Assurance to Dhṛtarāṣṭra (नारदोपदेशः—तपःसिद्ध्युदाहरणम्)
उस समय उन लोगोंमें विचित्र पदों और नाना श्रुतियोंसे युक्त धर्म और अर्थ-सम्बन्धी चर्चाएँ होती रहीं ।।
pāṇḍavās tv abhito mātur dharaṇyāṃ suṣupus tadā | utsṛjya tu mahārhāṇi śayanāni narādhipa ||
毗湿摩波耶那说道：当时，他们之间关于法（dharma）与利（artha）的议论仍在继续，辞采多姿，并多引圣典（śruti）为证。然而，般度五子啊，大王，却搁置了华贵的床榻，环绕母亲而卧于裸地之上，在林居苦行之中显出克制与恭敬侍奉之德。
