Attempt to Dissuade Kuntī; Commencement of Forest Residence

Excellence is not measured by power alone: true eminence combines rūpa (grace), bala (capacity), and śīla (ethical character). The verse holds up Nakula and Sahadeva as models of integrated virtue—strength governed by noble conduct.
Sañjaya is describing to the listener the scene near Kuntī, pointing out the twin Pāṇḍava brothers Nakula and Sahadeva seated close by her, and praising them as unmatched among men and comparable in splendor to Viṣṇu and Indra.
