सुस्वरं रुरुदे धीमान् मातु: पादावुपस्पृशन् । फिर तो समस्त पाण्डव अपने ताऊके दर्शनकी इच्छासे बड़ी उतावलीके साथ आगे बढ़े। बुद्धिमान् सहदेव तो बड़े वेगसे दौड़े और जहाँ कुन्ती थी
su-svaraṁ rurude dhīmān mātuḥ pādāv upaspṛśan |
毗湿摩波耶那言：智者萨诃提婆触及母亲之足，放声而哭，声清而响。诸般度婆因渴望得见长辈（持国，Dhṛtarāṣṭra）而急趋向前；唯萨诃提婆疾奔至昆蒂所在，抱住母亲双足，恸哭不止——此举彰显孝道、敬长之礼，以及苦难之后重逢所负之道义分量。
