नदीतीरेषु रम्येषु सर:सु च विशाम्पते । वासान् कृत्वा क्रमेणाथ जम्मुस्ते कुरुपुड्वा:,प्रजानाथ! वे कुरुश्रेष्ठ वीर नदियोंके रमणीय तटों तथा अनेक सरोवरोंपर पड़ाव डालते हुए क्रमश: आगे बढ़ते गये

nadītīreṣu ramyeṣu saraḥsu ca viśāmpate |
vāsān kṛtvā krameṇātha jagmustе kuru-puṅgavāḥ prajānātha ||
毗湿摩波耶那说道：噢民众之主，那些库鲁族中的翘楚，依次在秀美的河岸与诸多湖泊之畔安营歇息，继而一步一步向前行进。此颂强调旅程的纪律与秩序——在宁静吉祥的自然之地休憩，不急不躁地前行，正合长者入林之期所当具备的克制与端方。
