Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Public Request for Consent to Enter the Forest (अनुज्ञा-प्रार्थना)
शतदेये दशशतं सहस्ने चायुतं तथा । दीयते वचनाद् राज्ञ: कुन्तीपुत्रस्य धीमत:,बुद्धिमान कुन्तीपुत्र युधिष्ठिरके आदेशसे जहाँ सौ देना था, वहाँ हजार दिया गया और हजारकी जगह दस हजार बाँटा गया है
śatadeye daśaśataṃ sahasne cāyutaṃ tathā | dīyate vacanād rājñaḥ kuntīputrasya dhīmataḥ ||
毗湿摩波耶那说道：奉那位睿智的国王、昆蒂之子（尤提士提罗）之命，施与之财更增其厚：本当给百者，给至千；本当给千者，赐至万。叙事由此彰显王者之达摩：以广施、以悲悯，并以自觉之心，给出超过最低限度的恩惠。
