Transliteration

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: Yudhiṣṭhiro mahārāja Dhṛtarāṣṭre 'bhyupāharat; tathaiva Kuntī Gāndhāryā guru-vṛttim avartata, mahārāja.

Translation

毗湿摩波耶那说：尤提士提罗王常常向持国罗刹陀奉上供养。昆蒂亦如是，继续守持敬长之道，以应有的尊礼侍奉甘陀利。此段强调战后不移之法：胜者不弃败方之老者，反以荣誉、服侍与资财供给而奉养之。
