नैव लोभ॑ तदा चक्रुस्तत: स्वर्गमवाप्रुवन्‌

Transliteration

naiva lobhaṁ tadā cakrus tataḥ svargam avāpruvan

Translation

毗湿摩说道：即便如此，他们也未曾向贪欲屈服；因此得以升入天界。纵然饥饿至极，又被显贵之人以种种享乐引诱，那些大心之士仍不为欲望所动——故而赢得天界之境。
