कृत्वाग्नौकरणं पूर्व मन्त्रपूर्व तपोधन । ततो5ग्नये5थ सोमाय वरुणाय च नित्यश:

Transliteration

kṛtvāgnaukaraṇaṃ pūrvaṃ mantrapūrva tapodhana | tato 'gnaye 'tha somāya varuṇāya ca nityaśaḥ ||

Translation

毗湿摩说道：“噢，苦行功德深厚者！当先以如法诵持吠陀真言，完成点燃并安立圣火之仪（阿耆尼火之建立）之后，便应日复一日，依既定次第奉献所分之份：先献于火神阿耆尼，其次献于苏摩，再献于伐楼那——以守护所规定的祭祀秩序，维系支撑达摩的诸天之力。”
