Austerity, regulated fasting, residual-eating, and hospitality
अक्रोधना हाचपला: क्षान्ता दान्ता जितेन्द्रिया: । सर्वभूतहिता ये च श्राद्धेष्वेतान् निमन्त्रयेत्
akrodhanā hācapalāḥ kṣāntā dāntā jitendriyāḥ | sarvabhūtahitā ye ca śrāddheṣv etān nimantrayet ||
毗湿摩说：行施祖祭（śrāddha）之时，应当邀请那些无嗔不怒、不轻躁浮动、能忍能耐、自制克己、制伏诸根，并以一切众生之利益为念的人。
