भीष्म उवाच शृणु राजन्नवहितो बहुकारणविस्तरम् । जातरूपसमुत्पत्तिमनुभूतं च यन््मया
bhīṣma uvāca: śṛṇu rājann avahito bahu-kāraṇa-vistaram | jātarūpa-samutpattim anubhūtaṃ ca yan mayā ||
毗湿摩说道：“大王啊，专心聆听这段叙述；其因缘众多，铺陈甚广。我将依我所理解与亲历，按其应有次第，为你讲述黄金（jātarūpa，‘生色金’）的起源。”
