Go-mahātmyam: Pavitrāṇāṃ Pavitraṃ
Cows and Ghee as Supreme Purifiers
इदं गवां प्रभवविधानमुत्तमं पठन् सदाशुचिरपि मंगलप्रिय: । विमुच्यते कलिकलुषेण मानव: श्रियं सुतान् धनपशुमाप्तुयात् सदा
idam gavāṁ prabhavavidhānam uttamaṁ paṭhan sadāśucir api maṅgalapriyaḥ | vimucyate kalikaluṣeṇa mānavaḥ śriyaṁ sutān dhana-paśum āptuyāt sadā ||
毗湿摩说道：“凡常常诵读这段关于牛之起源与正当理解的殊胜记述者，即便未具仪轨上的清净，也将成为爱慕吉祥之人。此人得脱离迦梨时代的诸般垢染，并恒常获得兴盛——子嗣、福运、财富与牲畜。”
