भीष्म उवाच वृद्धानां ब्रुवतां तात श्रुतं मे यत्‌ पुरातनम्‌ । वक्ष्यामि तदशेषेण रोहिण्यो निर्मिता यथा

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca vṛddhānāṃ bruvatāṃ tāta śrutaṃ me yat purātanam | vakṣyāmi tadaśeṣeṇa rohiṇyo nirmitā yathā ||

Translation

毗湿摩说：“孩子啊，我从长者口中听闻一则古老的传说。我将为你尽数叙述——黄褐色的罗希尼（Rohiṇī，即迦毗罗牛 Kapilā）是如何被创造出来的。”
