Saudāsa–Vasiṣṭha on the Purifying Power of Cows
भीष्मजी कहते हैं--भरतश्रेष्ठ युधिष्ठिर! यह उपर्युक्त उपदेश ब्रह्माजीने इन्द्रको दिया। इन्द्रने राजा दशरथको तथा पिता दशरथने अपने पुत्र श्रीरामचन्द्रजीको दिया
bhīṣma uvāca—bharataśreṣṭha yudhiṣṭhira! ayam uparyukta upadeśaḥ brahmaṇā indrāya dattaḥ; indreṇa rājñe daśarathāya, pitṛṇā daśarathena ca svasmai putrāya śrīrāmacandrāya dattaḥ.
毗湿摩说道：“噢，婆罗多族中最卓越的由提施提罗！上述教诲，最初由梵天传与因陀罗。因陀罗又传给达沙罗陀王；达沙罗陀作为父亲，再传授给自己的儿子——圣罗摩旃陀罗（Śrī Rāmacandra）。”
