गवां लोकवर्णनं तथा गोप्रदानफलश्रुतिः
Description of the ‘World of Cows’ and the Stated Fruits of Cow-Gift
प्रचारे वा निवाते वा बुधो नोद्वेजयेत गा: । तृषिता हाभिवीक्षन्त्यो नरं हन्यु: सबान्धवम्
bhīṣma uvāca | pracāre vā nivāte vā budho nodvejayet gāḥ | tṛṣitā abhivīkṣantyo naraṃ hanyuḥ sabāndhavam |
毗湿摩说：“无论群牛自在游行，或在安静无扰之处歇息，智者皆不应惊扰恐吓之。因为牛若为渴所逼，怀求水之心望向一人，而其人不施以水，则牛以忿怒之目，或能使其与亲族同遭覆灭。”
