Karma-Phala Rahasya and the Ethics of Dāna (कर्मफल-रहस्यं दानधर्मश्च)
स्थण्डिलेषु शयानानां गृहाणि शयनानि च । चीरवल्कलसंवीते वासांस्याभरणानि च
sthaṇḍileṣu śayānānāṃ gṛhāṇi śayanāni ca | cīravalakalasaṃvīte vāsāṃsy ābharaṇāni ca ||
毗湿摩说道：那些作为林居苦行者，卧于裸地而眠者，来世将得上好宅第与安适床榻；而以树皮粗衣、破布为衣者，亦将在他生获得华美衣裳与相称饰物。由此可知，依于达摩而自愿受持的苦行与简朴，被教示为能结吉祥之果。
