Nṛga-upākhyāna: Brāhmaṇa-sva and the Consequence of Misappropriated Gift-Cattle (कृकलास-रूपे नृगोपाख्यानम्)
न कृशां नापवत्सां वा वन्ध्यां रोगान्वितां तथा । नव्यंगां न परिश्रान्तां दद्याद् गां ब्राह्मणाय वै
na kṛśāṃ nāpavatsāṃ vā vandhyāṃ rogānvitāṃ tathā | navy-aṅgāṃ na pariśrāntāṃ dadyād gāṃ brāhmaṇāya vai ||
毗湿摩说道：“若母牛瘦弱枯槁，或失其犊，或不孕，或染疾病；又或形体残缺、缺少肢体，或因劳顿与年迈而衰竭——皆不应施与婆罗门。为尊崇达摩而行之施，当为健全相称之供养，不可将瑕疵之物作为负累之赠。”
