Gopradāna–Bhūmidāna Guidelines and Recipient Eligibility
यः साधनार्थ काष्ठानि ब्राह्मुणे भ्य: प्रयच्छति । प्रतापनार्थ राजेन्द्र वृत्तवद्धयः सदा नर:
bhīṣma uvāca | yaḥ sādhanārthaṁ kāṣṭhāni brāhmaṇebhyaḥ prayacchati | pratāpanārthaṁ rājendra vṛttavaddhayaḥ sadā naraḥ ||
毗湿摩说道：大王啊，若有人恒常将柴薪施与持戒端正的婆罗门，使其得以煮食并取暖，则其所作之事皆得成就。其所愿日益兴盛，身具精力而光辉灿然，即在敌人之前亦常居上位。
