भीष्मजी कहते हैं--राजन्! इस प्रकार नक्षत्रोंक योगमें किये जानेवाले विविध वस्तुओंके दानका संक्षेपसे यहाँ वर्णन किया गया है। नारदजीने देवकीसे और देवकीजीने अपनी पुत्रवधुओंसे यह विषय सुनाया था ।।
bhīṣma uvāca—rājan! evaṃ nakṣatrayoge kriyamāṇānāṃ vividha-vastūnāṃ dānānāṃ saṃkṣepeṇa iha varṇanaṃ kṛtam. nāradena devakyāḥ sakāśāt, devakyā ca sva-putravadhu-bhyaḥ ayaṃ viṣayaḥ śrutaḥ. iti śrīmahābhārate anuśāsanaparvaṇi dānadharmaparvaṇi nakṣatrayogadānaṃ nāma catuḥṣaṣṭitamo ’dhyāyaḥ. iti dānadharmaparvaṇi nakṣatrayoga-sambandhī dāna-nāmakaḥ catuḥṣaṣṭitamo ’dhyāyaḥ samāptaḥ.
毗湿摩说道:“大王啊,此处已简要叙述:当特定的月宿合相(nakṣatra-yoga)出现时,应施行的种种布施。此教法,那罗陀从天授姬(Devakī)处听闻;天授姬又转而告知她的诸位儿媳。至此,《摩诃婆罗多》〈教诫篇〉之〈施舍法品〉中,题为‘月宿合相之施’的第六十四章圆满结束。”
भीष्म उवाच

Bhishma closes the instruction to King Yudhishthira by stating that the topic—donations connected with nakṣatra-yogas—has been summarized, and he notes the lineage of transmission: Narada learned it from Devaki, who then taught it to her daughters-in-law. The colophon then marks the end of the chapter.
