दानफलप्रकरणम् — उपानहदानं, तिलदानं, भूमिदानं, गोदानं, अन्नदानं च
Gifts and Their Stated Results: Footwear, Sesame, Land, Cows, and Food
भूमौ जायन्ति पुरुषा भूमौ निष्ठां व्रजन्ति च | चतुर्विधो हि लोको5यं यो5यं भूमिगुणात्मक:
bhūmau jāyante puruṣā bhūmau niṣṭhāṁ vrajanti ca | caturvidho hi loko 'yaṁ yo 'yaṁ bhūmiguṇātmakaḥ ||
毗湿摩说：人类生于大地之上，也在大地之上归于最终的安息。诚然，此世之境有四种形态，皆由大地自身的 गुण（性质）所塑成——提醒人们：有身之生起于同一片土，亦终于同一片土；故当以谦卑与坚定，安住于法（Dharma）。
