Transliteration

hṛtaṃ kṛpaṇa-vittaṃ hi rāṣṭraṃ hanti nṛpa-śriyam | dadyāc ca mahato bhogān kṣudhyaṃ praṇudet satām ||

Translation

毗湿摩说道：“确实，夺取贫苦之人的财物，会毁坏国土与君王的昌盛。因此，统治者不应取走穷人的产业；反当赐予他们充足的资用，使其得以安享，并驱散贤善之人所受的饥饿之苦。”
