तपसा दीप्यमानास्ते दहेयु: पृथिवीमपि । अपूज्यमाना: कौरव्य पूजाहस्तु तथाविधा:

Transliteration

tapasā dīpyamānās te daheyuḥ pṛthivīm api | apūjyamānāḥ kauravya pūjyās tu tathāvidhāḥ kuru-nandana ||

Translation

毗湿摩说道：“那些婆罗门以苦行之力炽然如焰；若不加礼敬，倘若他们愿意，甚至能焚尽大地。故而，噢，考罗维耶，俱卢之欢喜者，如此婆罗门实堪受恭敬供养。”
