On the Fruits of Austerity and Giving
कान्ताभिरपरांस्तत्र परिष्वक्तान् ददर्श ह | न ददर्श च तान् भूयो ददर्श च पुनर्नुप:
kāntābhir aparāṁs tatra pariṣvaktān dadarśa ha | na dadarśa ca tān bhūyo dadarśa ca punar nṛpaḥ |
毗湿摩说道：“在那里，国王又看见另一些人被爱侣紧紧拥抱。可转瞬之间，他又看不见他们；继而又再次看见。于是，在那奇妙的天界欢娱之境中，连知觉本身也摇曳不定——暗示欢乐与执著皆不稳固，凭感官享受所追逐之物，终难确实把持。”
