अध्याय ५६ — च्यवन–कुशिकसंवादः
Cyavana–Kuśika Dialogue on Lineage, Conflict, and Transmission
यदा तौ निर्विकारौ तु लक्षयामास भार्गव: । तत उत्थाय सहसा स्नानशालां विवेश ह
yadā tau nirvikārau tu lakṣayāmāsa bhārgavaḥ | tata utthāya sahasā snānaśālāṃ viveśa ha sa muniḥ punar evātha nṛpateḥ paśyatas tadā | nāsūyāṃ cakratus tau ca dampatī bharatarṣabha ||
毗湿摩说：当婆罗伽婆族的圣者见国王与王后始终泰然不动、心境无波时，便忽然起身，走入沐浴之室。随后，就在国王注视之下，那位牟尼又一次隐没无踪。国王早已备齐王者沐浴所需的一切器具，那圣者却全然不顾，丝毫不用；然而这对夫妇并未以挑剔责难之目看他，噢，婆罗多族中的雄杰。
