Transliteration

Cyavana uvāca: sahasreṇa nāham ahāmi kiṁ vā tvaṁ manyase nṛpa | sadṛśaṁ dīyatāṁ mūlyaṁ svabuddhyā niścayaṁ kuru ||

Translation

祇婆那说道：“人中王啊，我并非区区一千钱便可买得之人。你竟以为我的价只在此吗？当以与我相称之价相赠；请凭你自己的明辨深思，确立那价当为何数。”
