Cyavana’s Water-Vow and the Ethics of Cohabitation (स्नेह-सम्वास-धर्मः)
दस्युभि्दियमाणं च धन दारांश्व॒ सर्वश: । सर्वेषामेव वर्णानां त्राता भवति पार्थिव:,डाकुओंद्वारा लूटे जाते हुए सभी वर्णोके धन और स्त्रियोंका राजा ही रक्षक होता है
dasyubhir hriyamāṇaṃ ca dhanaṃ dārāṃś ca sarvaśaḥ | sarveṣām eva varṇānāṃ trātā bhavati pārthivaḥ ||
毗湿摩说道：“当盗匪以种种手段掠夺诸种姓（varṇa）之财物，甚至掳走其妇女之时，唯有国王成为一切种姓的护卫者。此偈彰显君王之法：为众人之守护，遏止无法，保障人身与财产之安宁，不以种姓而有偏私。”
