Compassion and Devotion—The Parrot Tested by Indra
एवमेव मनुष्येन्द्र भक्तिमन्तं समाश्रित: । सर्वार्थसिद्धि लभते शुकं प्राप्य यथा द्रुम:
evam eva manuṣyendra bhaktimantaṁ samāśritaḥ | sarvārthasiddhiṁ labhate śukaṁ prāpya yathā drumaḥ ||
毗湿摩说道：“同样如此，众人之最者啊：依止真正具足虔敬（bhakti）之人，便能获得诸事圆满——正如那树因得舒迦鹦鹉相伴，而完全成就所愿。亦复如是，凭依具虔敬之人，世人便能使一切愿望走向成功。”
