यस्त्वत्र मन्त्रसमयो भारयपत्योर्मिथ: कृत: । तमेवाहुर्गरीयांसं यश्चासौ ज्ञातिभि: कृत:
yas tv atra mantrasamayo bhāryāpatyor mithaḥ kṛtaḥ | tam evāhur garīyāṁsaṁ yaś cāsau jñātibhiḥ kṛtaḥ ||
毗湿摩说道：“在诸种婚姻之约中，夫与妻依仪轨、伴以圣诵而相互立誓者，被称为最为沉重、最为尊贵。若此一纽带又得亲族之认可与扶持，则更为可嘉：它使个人之誓与社会之许可与安定合而为一。”
