यस्यास्तु न भवेद् भ्राता पिता वा भरतर्षभ । नोपयच्छेत तां जातु पुत्रिकाधर्मिणी हि सा
yasyāstu na bhaved bhrātā pitā vā bharatarṣabha | nopayacchet tāṃ jātu putrikādharmiṇī hi sā ||
毗湿摩说道：“噢，婆罗多族中的雄牛啊，若一位少女既无兄弟亦无父亲，便不可在任何时候娶她为妻；因为她被视为受‘布特利迦之法’所辖——女儿被用以延续家系。”
