Strī-satkāra (On honoring women) — Mahābhārata 13.46
कुर्वाणं हि नरं कर्म पापं रहसि सर्वदा | पश्यन्ति ऋतवश्वापि तथा दिननिशे<प्युत,एकान्तमें पापकर्म करते हुए पुरुषको ऋतुएँ तथा रात-दिन सदा देखते रहते हैं
kurvāṇaṃ hi naraṃ karma pāpaṃ rahasi sarvadā | paśyanti ṛtavaś cāpi tathā dinaniśe 'py uta ||
毗补罗说道：即便有人在隐秘处作恶，他也从未真正无人见证——四时更迭，昼与夜，皆不断为证。此教诲表明，道德的追责无可逃避：隐藏的恶行，仍在时间与世界的秩序之前昭然。
