Adhyāya 39 — Yudhiṣṭhira’s inquiry on attachment (saṅga) and relational restraint

श्रुत्वा च नावजानामि नापराध्यामि कर्हिचित्‌ । अभ्यर्च्यभ्यनुपृच्छामि पादौ गृह्नामि धीमताम्‌

śrutvā ca nāvajānāmi nāparādhyāmi karhicit | abhyarcyābhyānupṛcchāmi pādau gṛhṇāmi dhīmatām ||

我听过之后,绝不轻慢他们,也从不冒犯他们。礼敬供养之后,我便问候安康,并抱持智者之足——尤其是明辨的婆罗门——以恭敬与自持为我行事之准则。
