युधिष्ठिरप्रश्नः—विश्वामित्रस्य ब्राह्मणत्वकौतूहलम् | Yudhiṣṭhira’s Inquiry on Viśvāmitra’s Attainment of Brāhmaṇya
विश्वामित्रस्यथ विपुला नदी देवर्षिसेविता । कौशिकी च शिवा पुण्या ब्रद्मर्षिसुरसेविता
Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | Viśvāmitrasyaiva vipulā nadī devarṣi-sevitā | Kauśikī ca śivā puṇyā brahmarṣi-sura-sevitā ||
玉提湿陀罗说：“那条宽广的大河，为天界仙圣（天仙、devarṣi）所侍奉随护，确是毗湿瓦密多罗之河；它名为‘拘悉吉’（Kauśikī），吉祥而圣洁，为梵仙（brahmarṣi）与诸天所敬礼。据说此河正是由毗湿瓦密多罗自身的苦行灵力所显现。”
