yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | brāhmaṇyaṃ yadi duṣprāpyaṃ tribhir varṇanṛpādhipa | kathaṃ prāptaṃ mahārāja kṣatriyeṇa mahātmanā ||
由提湿提罗说道：“噢，诸王之主，伟大的国王啊——若婆罗门之位（Brahminhood）对其余三种姓而言极难获得，那么出身刹帝利族的伟大灵魂毗湿瓦密多，如何得证婆罗门之性？我愿听其真实缘由，请为我开示。”
