Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
अप्राप्तदमकाश्रैव नासानां वेधकाश्ष ये । बन्धकाश्व पशूनां ये ते वै निरयगामिन:,जो काबूमें न आनेवाले पशुओंका दमन करते, नाथते अथवा कटपरेमें बंद करते हैं, वे नरकगामी होते हैं
aprāptadamakaś caiva nāsānāṃ vedhakaś ca yaḥ | bandhakaś ca paśūnāṃ yaḥ sa vai nirayagāmī ||
毗湿摩说道：凡以强力压服那些本不可善加驯服之兽，或为控制而穿刺、伤其鼻，或将其捆缚囚禁者，此人被说为注定堕入地狱。此教诫指出：对无助生灵施以残酷与强制束缚，违背达摩，必招沉重的道德果报。
