अद्टावक्र उवाच हरन्ति दोषजातानि नरं जात॑ यथेच्छकम्‌ | प्रभवामि सदा धृत्या भद्रे स्वशयनं व्रज

Transliteration

aṣṭāvakra uvāca | haranti doṣajātāni naraṃ jātaṃ yathecchakam | prabhavāmi sadā dhṛtyā bhadre svaśayanaṃ vraja |

Translation

阿什塔瓦克罗说道：“贤淑的夫人啊，诸般过失与罪垢，必攫住那随心所欲、放纵而行的男子。我却常以坚忍自持，制伏其心。故而，贵女当归回你自己的床榻。”
