Educational Q&A

The verse praises the Supreme through epithets that highlight ethical and spiritual ideals: steadfast endurance, purity, and the removal of sin. It frames liberation as the highest wealth and presents the Divine as the supreme path leading beyond the recurring cycle of return (saṃsāra).

Vāyudeva is reciting a sequence of divine names (stuti) describing the Lord’s qualities and salvific role—especially His power to purify, sustain beings through repeated worldly cycles, and guide them toward the highest goal.
