होमकाले यथा वदह्नलि: कालमेव प्रतीक्षते । ऋतुकाले तथा नारी ऋतुमेव प्रतीक्षते,जैसे होमकालमें अग्निदेव होमकी ही प्रतीक्षा करते हैं, उसी प्रकार ऋतुकालमें स्त्री ऋतुकी ही प्रतीक्षा करती है
homakāle yathā vahniḥ kālam eva pratīkṣate | ṛtukāle tathā nārī ṛtum eva pratīkṣate ||
毗湿摩说道：“正如在规定的火供之时，圣火只等待那恰当的时刻；同样，女子在其时令之中，也只等待其时令。”此言以“正时、正序”的戒律来约束欲望与结合，将自制与端正视为达摩的一部分。
