अतिथीनां च सर्वेषां प्रेष्याणां स्वजनस्य च । तथा शरणकामानां गोप्ता स्यात् स्वागतप्रद:
atithīnāṃ ca sarveṣāṃ preṣyāṇāṃ svajanasya ca | tathā śaraṇakāmānāṃ goptā syāt svāgatapradaḥ ||
毗湿摩说：“真正端正之人，当为一切宾客、家中仆役、亲族，以及求庇护者，作护佑之主，作殷勤之迎者。此处所示的伦理理想，是以责任相系的待客之道：以礼相接，并在他人倚赖于你时，确保其安稳无虞。”
