प्रथमो होष देवानां मुखादग्निमजीजनत् । ग्रहैर्बहुविधै: प्राणान् संरुद्धानुत्सूजत्यपि
prathamo hi sa devānāṁ mukhād agnim ajījanat | grahair bahuvidhaiḥ prāṇān saṁruddhān utsṛjati api ||
风神伐由说道:“他在诸天之中最为尊上;正从他的口中生出了火神阿耆尼。即便众生的生命之息因种种星辰之厄而被束缚窒塞——他亦能解脱之,使其离苦得安。”
वायुदेव उवाच
The verse highlights a deity’s supreme, beneficent power: he is both a cosmic creator (bringing forth Agni) and a compassionate protector who frees afflicted beings from suffering, restoring their prāṇa and well-being.
Vāyu-deva is praising or describing a foremost divine figure, stating that this god produced Agni from his mouth and also liberates living beings whose life-force is oppressed by various graha-related afflictions.
