Educational Q&A

Knowledge (vijñāna) is not merely acquired by effort; it can also arise through the grace (prasāda) of a realized sage, and it should be carefully articulated for the benefit of seekers.

Yudhiṣṭhira respectfully requests Kṛṣṇa to explain, in detail, the special insight Kṛṣṇa previously obtained through the favor of the sage Durvāsā, setting up a didactic discourse.
