prasannasya ca me tāta paśya vyuṣṭiṃ yathāvidhi | yāvadeva manuṣyāṇām anne bhāvo bhaviṣyati

The verse links divine favor and right order (vidhi) with a lasting human ethic: as long as people maintain proper regard for food—treating it as worthy of respect rather than contempt—the beneficial, ordained outcome remains stable. It underscores gratitude, restraint, and reverence toward sustenance as a foundation of dharma.
Vāyudeva addresses an affectionate “child” (tāta), declaring his satisfaction and inviting the listener to witness the proper, rule-governed result now becoming manifest. He then states a condition for its continuance: it will last as long as humans preserve a respectful disposition toward food.
